The Original Prusa MK4S is the build-it-yourself kit version of Prusa Research's flagship bed-slinger, designed and made in the Czech Republic. It uses the Nextruder direct-drive extruder with load-cell first-layer calibration, input shaping for fast printing, and a magnetic heatbed with removable PEI spring-steel sheets. Wi-Fi with NFC setup allows remote management; it can also run fully offline. The kit comes with fully illustrated assembly instructions (every fastener drawn 1:1) – building it is part of the experience.
